High Desert Bird Club

Thank you to everyone who participated and made the first HDBC Bird Expo a success. We had a variety of vendors, bird rescues, seminars, raffle drawings, and our Bird Star Talent Show. It was great fun and a great opportunity for HDBC to reach out to the community and help birds, bird owners, and potential bird owners.

A special thank you to our seminar presenters, Betty Hall, Charlie Howard, Trina Hatcher, and Anna Sloan. Also, a special thank you to our Bird Star chairperson and moderator, Brittany Garcia, and our panel of outstanding judges, Dr. Daniel Levenson, Malcolm Birch, and Brenda Garcia.

UPDATE! May 2010
HDBC will take a hiatus this year (2010) from hosting a Bird Expo. We look forward to next year (2011) and hosting a Bird Expo complete with mini seminars, vendors, and another rendition of Bird Star Talent Show.
